Essar Ports, one of the largest private sector port company in India by capacity and throughput, has always gone beyond business and put people first, enabling and enriching the communities around the areas where its operates its businesses.

Essar Bulk Terminal Limited, Hazira organised free eye check-up camp for the students of Hazira Primary School on 6th of May, 2022. A total of over 100 plus students were screened for any vision or eye infection or related diseases.

A team of six ophthalmologists from renowned ASG EYE HOSPITALS, Surat, visited the school at Hazira and examined the students. The doctors and eye specialists carried the advance machinery and instruments to facilitate accurate diagnosis and advice correct remedial measures. Village Sarpanch Ms. Madhu Ben Rathod was also present on the occasion along with her family.  Village Sarpanch and Principal of Hazira Primary School, appreciated Essar Bulk Terminal’s patronage for the rural areas school. The camp began with lighting of the lamp by honourable guests followed by invocation song by students.
