All-weather iron ore terminal in Paradip, Odisha,
Located within one of the 13 designated ‘major ports’ of India, Essar had developed 16 MMTPA all-weather deep-draft Iron-Ore export terminal at Paradip, Odisha, capable to handle vessels up to 105,000 DWT and integrated with Essar’s 12 MMTPA pellet plant by 9.2 km mechanized conveying facility was divested to AMNS India in 2022. The location is critical for the exports of iron ore from the iron ore belt in eastern India.
