Essar Bulk Terminal Paradip Limited (EBTPL) recently won the coveted ‘Best Express Logistic Service Provider Award’ in the organisational category, at the Odisha Business Leader of the Year Awards. The felicitation ceremony was held in Bhubaneswar in April.

EBTPL was chosen among a list of port operators and logistic service providers in the state of Odisha. The award also recognises the efforts put in by EBTPL with respect to sustaining the growth impetus in the logistics sector through uninterrupted services and resilience during the disruption caused by the pandemic. EBTPL showcased their innovative approach, state-of-the-art facilities and sustainable practices to a distinguished panel of jury members at the award ceremony.

EBTPL is an all-weather mechanised terminal, which has state-of-the-art infrastructure with the highest loading rate among the iron ore handling terminals at the Paradip Port Trust. The Paradip mechanised facility handles dry bulk cargo by way of export and is the primary export channel for AM/NS India, Paradip pellet plant, via a fully mechanised conveyor system from the plant. The 16 MMTPA all-weather deep-draft terminal in Paradip Port, Odisha, with a 9.2 km conveyor and 19 no’s of Junction Houses and one Silo of 3000 MT capacity which connects the pellet plant to the berthing facility to export pellets.
